Individual Therapy for Adults
As adults we take on a plethora of roles and responsibilities, hardships arise, major life milestones take place. This can stir us up or bring up past hurts and traumas that have not been resolved. Having a safe space to express, vent, and address our rock bottom as we bounce back and learn more adaptive ways of thinking and being can be so important in the recovery process.
A framework of Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered Approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are often utilized as part of therapy.
What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a therapy modality that is facilitated by a trained mental health professional with a Master Level education, hands-on experience and credentials to practice.
Art therapists may utilize art making in therapy for assessment, treatment and/or for coping skill building. Art therapy can be helpful for children and adults.
Technical art skills or experience are not required to receive art therapy as a form of treatment.
